- Privacy requests: include enough information for us to identify your message, but avoid sending sensitive personal details.
- Safety issues: tell us if a guide could be misread in a way that affects HVAC, electrical, mold, gas, structural, or lease safety.
Typical response time is 3-7 business days when a reply is needed. Dwell Calm cannot provide emergency help, personalized HVAC diagnosis, legal advice, or mold/electrical/building inspections.
Before asking for room-specific help
Useful messages usually include the room type, season, outdoor weather, whether the room is over a garage or next to exterior walls, and what you have already checked. For humidity questions, include a hygrometer reading and whether the reading changes after showers, cooking, laundry, or opening windows. For draft or temperature questions, include where the discomfort is strongest: window edge, floor, door gap, vent, closet, or one wall.
Please do not send photos that show private documents, addresses, children, lease paperwork, utility account numbers, or other sensitive information. If a situation involves burning smells, gas odor, active leaks, visible mold growth, electrical moisture, carbon monoxide alarms, or unsafe heat sources, contact qualified help or emergency services instead of waiting for an editorial reply.
